Iran confirms fourth round of nuclear talks with the US, mediated by Oman

Iran has agreed to a fourth round of indirect nuclear negotiations with the United States, set for Sunday, pending final coordination with Omani mediators. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi cautioned that Tehran remains skeptical of Washington’s mixed signals, insisting that Iran will not compromise on its national interests despite shifting US positions.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Iran has agreed to a fourth round of indirect negotiations with the United States, scheduled to take place this Sunday, pending final coordination from Omani mediators.

With nuclear diplomacy back on the table, Iran’s confirmation of continued dialogue signals cautious progress—though Tehran remains skeptical of Washington’s mixed messages.

“We’ve agreed to Sunday as the date for the next round. Oman is finalizing the time.”

“The talks are progressing, but with progress comes the need for more consultation and review.”

“Our stance is clear and principled. Wherever our national interests are served, we move forward—where they’re not, we hold our ground.”

“We’ve received contradictory signals from the U.S. side—some of which are reversed by the same people who made them just days later. Some blame the transition in the U.S. administration; others see it as acts of deception in the negotiations.”

The talks are being mediated by Oman. Araghchi emphasized that Iran’s positions in the talks remain unchanged and are rooted in strategic calculations.
