AhlulBayt News Agency: In the early hours of Monday morning, a new wave of Iranian missile strikes caused significant human and material losses in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and various parts of the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the death toll in central Israel has risen to five, with the fifth fatality found beneath the rubble in Petah Tikva, northeast of Tel Aviv.
Arab media outlets confirmed that Iranian missiles also struck the Nevatim Airbase near Tel Aviv, a key Israeli military site.
According to Israel’s public broadcaster, the missile attacks hit areas near the ammonia plant at the Port of Haifa and the Haifa power station, causing multiple injuries.
Meanwhile, the UK-based maritime security firm Ambrey verified that Iran launched ballistic missile strikes targeting critical infrastructure at the Port of Haifa.
Israel’s emergency services reported a total of 100 injuries and five fatalities across the impacted areas.
Loud explosions were heard in Jerusalem, while missile barrages stretched from northern Galilee to the southern city of Eilat, Israeli media reported.
The Israeli occupation military announced that it detected a fresh wave of Iranian missile launches, urging the public to remain in shelters until further notice. Later, the military admitted that its air defenses failed to intercept at least 10 Iranian missiles in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
