Yemen announces growing ties with major global powers

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi revealed that Yemen is strengthening ties with major powers, with details expected soon. He emphasized Yemen’s strategic position in the Red Sea and its military support for Egypt. Al-Houthi also claimed that Yemeni missile strikes had forced US forces to stop their aggression.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, announced that Yemen is moving toward closer relations with major global powers. He stated that details of this rapprochement will be revealed in the coming days.

Al-Houthi emphasized that Yemen’s position in the Red Sea contributes to Arab national security. He noted that many nations now recognize the link between Yemen’s stance and the situation in Gaza.

He also reaffirmed Sana’a’s support for Egypt, asserting that Egypt must maintain full sovereignty over the Suez Canal. He described Yemen’s military operations as a guarantor for Egypt and the canal’s security.

Speaking to Al-Masirah TV, al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering position on Gaza. He stated that the United States had failed in its war against Yemen, and Yemeni missile strikes had successfully pressured American forces to halt their aggression against the country.
